Relief news has come out about (Milkha Singh), popularly known as 'Flying Sikh'. Milkha Singh's condition remains stable. The hospital has released health update about Milkha Singh and his wife. Earlier on Friday, PM Modi had called to inquire about Milkha Singh's condition and wished him a speedy recovery.

Kumar said that a team of three doctors at PGIMER is closely monitoring Milkha Singh. Milkha's 82-year-old wife Nirmal is in the ICU of Fortis Hospital and her condition has deteriorated. The hospital said, "Nirmal Kaur's condition has deteriorated and her need for oxygen has increased."
PM Modi wishes a speedy recovery
Earlier in the day, Milkha's son Jeev Milkha Singh also said that his father's condition was stable. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who called and took stock of Milkha Singh's condition.
Modi was to visit Milkha on Friday. At the same time, Modi hoped that Milkha Singh would return soon to bless and inspire the athletes participating in the Tokyo Olympics.
Milkha Singh's corona report came positive on May 20 and after his test came negative on May 31, he was sent home from the hospital.

Milkha Singh Biography
Milkha Singh was born in Govindpur on November 20, 1932 to a Rathore Rajput Sikh family.  He is a Sikh runner,  who represented India at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome and the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. He has been nicknamed "Urta Sikh". He is one of the best players in India.
Milkha Singh lost his parents in the post-partition Afra Tafari. Eventually they became refugees and came to India from Pakistan by train.
After such a horrible childhood, he decided to do something in his life. After gaining a reputation as a promising runner, he successfully ran the 200m and 400m and thus became the most successful runner in India so far. For some time he also held the world record of 400 m.
After winning gold at the 1958 Commonwealth Games in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom, the whole sports world came to know him when he accepted a medal with long hair for being a Sikh.
At the same time he was invited to run in Pakistan, but he was reluctant to go there because of his childhood events. But if he did not go, he was asked to go for fear of political upheaval. He accepted the invitation to run.
In the race, Milkha Singh easily defeated his opponents and won easily. Most of the Muslim spectators were so impressed that even completely Burkanshine women took off their masks to watch this great runner pass by, from then on they got the title of Flying Sikh.
Milkha Singh later retired from sports and started working with the Government of India for the promotion of sports. Now they live in Chandigarh.
Well known filmmaker, director and writer Rakesh Omprakash Mehra made a film called Bhag Milkha Bhag in 2013. This film was very popular.
Milkha Singh, popularly known as Flying Sikh, participates in various sports events in the country. He flagged off the 10 km Geo Marathon-2014 held on November 30, 2014 in Hyderabad.
He won gold medals in the 200m and 400m at the 1958 Asian Games.
He won a gold medal at the 1958 Commonwealth Games.
After retirement, (Milkha Singh) is the Sports Director of Punjab. He was also awarded the title of Padma Shri. His son Jeev Milkha Singh is a golfer.
