Man of the Age - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj..

The history of Marathas is unique in the history of the world. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj started a new era in the history of medieval India by establishing an independent sovereign state of the Marathas. In the later period of Swarajya itself, it was transformed into a vast empire and got the name of Hindupadpadshahi. The Maratha Empire was known as the most powerful power in India. An important quality of Shivaraya is his extraordinary simplicity. Staying with the army, he happily overcame all trials and tribulations.

Shivaji Maharaj ranks first in the world in the rank of commander. During the entire reign of Shivaraya in 1645-1680, neither the powerful Mughals nor the Bijapurkars had a single Hindu or Muslim general who was not defeated by the Maharaja. Princes, Iranians and Pathan Sardars as well as Rajput kings like Jaswant Singh Rathore all bowed before Chhatrapati Shivaji. Shivaji Raje was a pioneer as a personal hero, organizer and hero. The war with Afzal Khan, the raid on Shaista Khan, the looting of Surat, not only that, but his unwarranted entry into Aurangzeb's court all testify to the above statements and virtues.

Shivrayani nurtured the principle of equality. The army included people of all castes. Farmers, common people, clerks, tribals were all given an important place in the Swarajya. Maharaj created an army that watered all the opposing powers. This is a big thing to mention here. During the crisis created after the death of the king due to the training of hundreds of army officers by Shivaraya, the freedom of the Marathas was protected by these people by fighting against all the powerful imperial powers on the back of the world.

The extraordinary ingenuity of Shivaji Maharaj's wisdom was an important aspect. In the event of an emergency, he used the right ingenuity and never in his life did Shivaraya appreciate the deceit, fraud and secret conspiracies of the enemy. On the contrary, they succeeded in capturing the enemy in their own trap. In times of crisis, Shivrai used his ingenuity to get out of the crisis unscathed. The liberation of Shahaji Raja, the annihilation of the Moryas, the defeat of Afzal Khan, his escape from Panhala, the chakwa on the huge fort, the looting of Surat, the escape from Agra, the journey back safely from the Mughal Empire - all these exciting things happened in his life. From all this, you can see the brave personality of Shivaraya.

What is special is that Shivaji Maharaj sacrificed his entire life to achieve his goal and policy by working tirelessly and that is why it makes sense to say that Shivaji Maharaj was a man of the age. Due to this work of the Maharaja, the people of that time were seeing this unprecedented and new glory as Swarajya. That is why, as Amatya said, ‘Maharaj created a new creation. Shivaji Maharaj created discipline in the government.

Demonstrated indifference in the judiciary, gave understanding to the misbehaving officers without keeping Mulahija. All religions are treated equally, but the most important thing is the care of the ryots. Considering the ryota as a child, this king was not only a great epoch-maker, but he was also a venerable great man, like the Mahatma who spoke and practiced the passionate philosophy of humanity.
